Soccer Game Preview: KIPP Denver Collegiate vs. Kennedy

The KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers will head out to challenge the Kennedy Commanders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP Denver Collegiate will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

KIPP Denver Collegiate proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Wellington by a goal, winning 2-1.

Jennifer Alvarado and Zoe Haataja scored both of KIPP Denver Collegiate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Kennedy fell victim to Lincoln and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 5-0 to the Lancers. Kennedy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

KIPP Denver Collegiate's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
