Volleyball Recap: Christian Brothers Triumphs

Christian Brothers had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pioneer Patriots.

Pioneer's loss came despite strong showings from Layla Medalle and Ava Casias. Medalle had 13 digs, while Casias had six digs.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Pioneer has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Pleasant Grove on the 23rd. Hopefully Christian Brothers paid attention to the Patriots' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
