After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Westside is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the ED White Commanders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westside fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Tocoi Creek on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Toros 28-22. Meanwhile, ED White didn't have quite enough to beat Trinity Christian Academy last Friday and fell 21-18. The Commanders gained 144 more yards on the day, but it was the Conquerors that made the best use of them.

Even if they lost, ED White's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Demetrea Lamar was especially locked on to Trinity Christian Academy's QB and sacked him twice. Lamar's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles. Another thorn in Trinity Christian Academy's side was Javon Johnson, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles.
