Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Valley Big Reds vs. L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders

The Chippewa Valley Big Reds will square off against the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Chippewa Valley sitting on three straight victories and L'Anse Creuse North on five.

Chippewa Valley can't be too worried about heading out to take on L'Anse Creuse North: they just beat Utica Ford at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Chippewa Valley made off with a 53-52 win over Utica Ford.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, L'Anse Creuse North beat Port Huron Northern 64-60 on Friday.

Chippewa Valley pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two points across that stretch. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.

Chippewa Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against L'Anse Creuse North in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
