Football Game Preview: Washington Bulldogs vs. Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Washington Bulldogs and the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington hasn't scored more than seven points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Washington came into their game two weeks ago off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of Hapeville Charter. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 378th, while the Hornets are ranked 110th).

Meanwhile, Holy Innocents Episcopal was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 26-22 to Carver.

Although Holy Innocents Episcopal took the loss, they still got scores from Brayden Bailey and Denim Stevens.

Even if they lost, Holy Innocents Episcopal's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Myles Jackson. He has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times he's played.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Washington came up short against Holy Innocents Episcopal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 23-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Golden Bears' Sam Chasteen, who rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns.
