Basketball Game Preview: Columbia Lions vs. Mary Walker Chargers + How To Watch

Columbia hasn't had much luck against Mary Walker recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Columbia took on Odessa on Saturday. The Lions lost to the Tigers on the road by a 42-28 margin. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 13-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Mary Walker ended up a good deal behind Northport on Saturday and lost 79-63.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mary Walker, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Columbia was taken down by Mary Walker 77-39 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Lions, Andru Pinyan (who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
