While Miller School of Albemarle couldn't topple Fredericksburg Christian on Tuesday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Emelia DelCarmen. DelCarmen wasn't messing around, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her seventh straight with five or more strikeouts.
