North Lincoln extended their winning streak to 20 games thanks to a huge performance from Ashlyn Black. The North Lincoln Knights simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Foard Tigers 66-36 thanks in part to Black, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Grice, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, Foard saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jessica Bailey went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points and seven boards. That was a full 66.7% of Foard's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

North Lincoln's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points over those games. As for Foard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Coming up, North Lincoln will square off against West Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully West Iredell likes a good challenge. As for Foard, they will take on Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foard is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.
