Basketball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

Clyde came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 65-17 loss at the hands of the Wall Hawks. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Clyde lost, don't look at Gracie Caperton. Despite the final result, she posted ten points and six rebounds. That was a full 58.8% of the Bulldogs' points, marking the ninth time in a row Caperton has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Wall, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-3.

Clyde has already played their next game, a 41-39 defeat against Jim Ned on the 10th. As for Wall, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brady at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
