Soccer Recap: Fallbrook Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Fallbrook was not quite Oceanside's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Oceanside Pirates by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

Fallbrook's goal came courtesy of Rafael Melendez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Fallbrook now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Oceanside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Fallbrook didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Justin Garza on the 27th. As for Oceanside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against St. John Bosco on the 27th.
