Recap: Loving Falcons vs. Eunice Cardinals
The Loving Falcons lost against the Eunice Cardinals last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Loving was outmatched by Eunice at home and fell 93-41. Loving was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-21.
When it comes to explaining why Loving lost, one person who can't be blamed is JD King. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. King is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Kaleb Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Loving's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Eunice, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Tatum the next time they take the court. Loving will head out to face Tatum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Eunice will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
