If Nixon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sharyland, they should've done a better job of containing Pamela Pena. The Rattlers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Pena, who had 11 kills. She has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last six times she's played.

Sharyland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Nixon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Sharyland has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rockport-Fulton on the 23rd. As for Nixon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Roma on the 26th.
