The score was all tied up 19-19 at the break, but the Twisters were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Shawe Memorial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 57-52 to South Decatur. The Hilltoppers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Oldenburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Shawe Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything came up roses for Oldenburg Academy against Shawe Memorial in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 72-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oldenburg Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
