A Season-Best Performance from Gabe Kechter Leads Idalia over Granada

Idalia was led to victory by Gabe Kechter, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Kechter wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss). The game was his 11th straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.

The win (which was Idalia's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Kechter and Idalia will head out to square off against Cheyenne Wells at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Stockton Fye was instrumental in extending Stratton's winning streak to 11 on Saturday. Caliche had no answer to Fye as he rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 245 rushing yards gave Fye a new career-high.

Caliche had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Fye it was a similar story. Fye rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Buffaloes duked it out back in September.

Brody Webb and Co. Win 11th in a Row

Brody Webb was instrumental in extending Stratton's winning streak to 11 on Saturday. Webb did his part (and then some), rushing for 77 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles (2.5 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Webb is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Otis on Friday. Webb rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October.

Austin Wright's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Arickaree over Cheyenne Wells

While Austin Wright delivered a dominant effort on Saturday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Arickaree. Wright turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 175 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown.

For the year, Wright has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 116.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after ten games last season, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 14.

Otis Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Tayte Smith

Tayte Smith's big game helped extend Otis's winning streak to five on Saturday. Smith turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 27 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up three sacks, forcing a fumble, and making three total tackles.
