Football Recap: River View Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Aiden Tyutyunnik and Wyatt Curtis

River View played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Columbia Coyotes, falling 41-18. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, River View had strong showings from Wyatt Curtis, who gained 109 total yards and three touchdowns, and Aiden Tyutyunnik, who threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Tyutyunnik didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made six total tackles.

River View has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Columbia, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

River View has already played their next contest, a 36-0 victory against White Swan on the 1st. As for Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-19 defeat against Cle Elum-Roslyn on the 1st.
