On Friday, Creekside strolled past Harris County with points to spare, taking the game 64-48.
Meanwhile, Kendrick entered their tilt with Hardaway on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 75-44. With the Cherokees ahead 47-25 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Kendrick pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Creekside, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Creekside against Kendrick when the teams last played back in January of 2020, as the team secured an 86-56 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Creekside since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
