Soccer Game Preview: Coral Springs Charter vs. Western

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Coral Springs Charter take on the Western at 7:00 p.m. on Friday... Coral Springs Charter's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

If Western heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Coral Springs Charter took over last week. Coral Springs Charter skirted past Pompano Beach 2-1. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Western didn't have quite enough to beat Monarch on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Coral Springs Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9-1 record this season.

Coral Springs Charter suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Western in their previous meeting back in November of 2021. Can Coral Springs Charter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
