Volleyball Recap: Jonesville Beats Addison for Their Fourth Straight Win

Jonesville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Addison Panthers 3-0. The Comets were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Comets were just returning the favor.

Jonesville was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-15.

Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wood got some help from Olivia Babcock and her 16 assists. Wood also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jayda Rathbun, each putting up three.

Jonesville now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Addison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jonesville will take on rival Leslie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Addison is set to face off against their familiar foe Napoleon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
