Softball Recap: Ashdown Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Ashdown's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Bismarck Lions on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ashdown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bismarck, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ashdown is set to square off against their familiar foe Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bismarck will take on rival Genoa Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
