Soccer Game Preview: West Point vs. Browne

The West Point Dragons will challenge the Browne Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Point will be strutting in after a win while Browne will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, West Point turned things around against Valley Vista on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monsoon a 5-0 shutout. The Dragons' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last nine games.

Meanwhile, Browne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to South Mountain.

Browne's goal came courtesy of Anthony Hernadez, who's now up to 12 this season.

Browne's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for West Point, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10-1.
