Volleyball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Armada's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-24 record this season.

Croswell-Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Sandusky on the 18th. Hopefully Armada paid attention to the Pioneers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
