It was a good run, but Birmingham unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 6-2 to the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Birmingham's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 17-8. As for Granada Hills Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season.
