Baseball Recap: Trinity's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Trinity unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 6-3 to the Elizabeth Forward Warriors.

Matthew Robaugh made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Trinity's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 3-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't).

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Elizabeth Forward, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Trinity will head out to face off against Pine-Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Hillers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Elizabeth Forward does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
