Volleyball Recap: Reedley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Reedley had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Madera South Stallions by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Stallions on Friday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Moses Quevedo paced Reedley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Quevedo got some help from Adrian Vargas and his 25 assists. Vargas was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Reedley's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Madera South, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Coincidentally, Reedley and Madera South will both be playing Fresno Christian the next time they take the court. Madera South will host Fresno Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Reedley will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
