John Carlson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
