Soccer Game Preview: Kennewick vs. Chiawana + Official Tickets

Kennewick hasn't had much luck against Chiawana recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Riverhawks at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Kennewick is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Southridge get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. Kennewick haven't had any issues with Southridge recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Chiawana made easy work of Hermiston on Tuesday and carried off a 6-0 victory. Chiawana might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Chiawana's win bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Kennewick, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Kennewick might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Chiawana in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
