The Juniata Valley Hornets will look to defend their home court against the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Juniata Valley suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 77-54 loss at the hands of Bellwood-Antis. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Juniata Valley has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Juniata Valley got a solid performance out of Connor Robinson, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Deihl, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 56-38 fall against Millersburg.
This is the second loss in a row for Juniata Valley and nudges their season record down to 9-4. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-9 record last season and are now at 3-11.
Everything came up roses for Juniata Valley against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 82-45 win.
