Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Chester County's offense. They came up short against McNairy Central on Friday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chester County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Jackson South Side, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Jackson South Side beat Chester County 3-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
