Volleyball Game Preview: Reed-Custer Comets vs. Streator Bulldogs

Reed-Custer hasn't had much luck against Streator recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Comets will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Reed-Custer's tournament run continued when they took on St. Anne on Saturday. The Comets fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Reed-Custer was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Streator earned a 2-0 victory over Hall on Saturday.

Streator has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season. As for Reed-Custer, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Reed-Custer couldn't quite get it done against Streator when the teams last played on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
