Volleyball Recap: Nashville's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 18

Nashville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Althoff Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row.

Nashville's offense was headlined by Carly Kasten and Emma Behrmann, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Scarlet Konkel and her 15 assists. Finally, Summer Brinkmann kept Nashville's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Despite the loss, Althoff Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Fairbairn had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Fairbairn.
