The Fighting Herald blew past the Mustangs 44-24 on Thursday for which the team can thank Hatfield, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.
St. John's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Mathews, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John will challenge Conneaut at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mathews, they will face off against Grand Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mathews will need to watch out since Grand Valley has now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
