The Kennedy Eagles will head out to challenge the Visitation Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

Kennedy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Richfield on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Spartans. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Maya Skibbie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kennedy got a massive performance out of Sarah Perez, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Audrey Skibbie, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Visitation beat Hawley 6-1 on Saturday.

Kennedy's record is now 6-1. As for Visitation, their record now sits at 7-1.

Kennedy came out on top in a nail-biter against Visitation in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
