Soccer Game Preview: Aurora Central vs. Overland

The Aurora Central Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Overland Trailblazers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aurora Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Aurora Central managed to keep up with Thornton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Aurora Central came up short against Thornton, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Overland managed to keep up with Adams City until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trailblazers lost 4-1 to the Eagles. Overland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Overland's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Aurora Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Aurora Central suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Overland when the teams last played back in April. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
