Baseball Recap: St. Albert Comes Up Short

St. Albert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Kuemper Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Friday.

St. Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Kuemper, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

St. Albert will take on Underwood at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kuemper, they will face off against Algona at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
