Falls City's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Louise Hornets 48-8. The contest marked the Beavers' most dominant win of the season.

Leading Falls City to victory were Braylon Johnson and Tyler Pawelek. Johnson rushed for 101 yards and three TDs on only five carries, while Pawelek rushed for 131 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. What's more, Johnson racked up 137.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Falls City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 344 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Falls City, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Johnson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Falls City's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Louise, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Falls City will welcome Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comanches' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Beavers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Louise, they will head out on the road to take on Pettus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
