Softball Recap: La Sierra Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for La Sierra's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Santiago Sharks on Saturday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Sharks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The loss snapped La Sierra's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record. As for Santiago, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17.

La Sierra wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-6 win against Rubidoux on the 5th. As for Santiago, they will take on Norco at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Sharks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
