Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Beats Concordia Lutheran for Their Fifth Straight Victory

St. Joseph came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders. For the Flyers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

St. Joseph was led to victory by Syler Sullivan and Abigail Brister. Sullivan had 11 digs and three aces, while Brister had 13 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Sullivan has posted over her last seven games. Jordy Ybarra also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Concordia Lutheran, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

St. Joseph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Antonian Prep on the 6th. As for Concordia Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fort Worth Christian on the 6th.
