Bethel has gone a perfect 3-0 against Shawnee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out to square off against the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bethel fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Casady on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 9-6 to the Cyclones.

Weston Henry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Shawnee lost 12-3 to Bishop Kelley on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Bethel got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 against Shawnee by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
