Nelson will head out on the road to take on the Sandy Pioneers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Nelson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Nelson took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Barlow, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Nelson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Barlow on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for Nelson, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Bailey Hill made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Hill was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
