Paramus has gone 9-1 against Hackensack recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Spartans will square off against the Comets at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Paramus earned a 13-9 victory over Pascack Hills. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Hackensack posted their closest win since May 17, 2025 on Thursday. They skirted past Paterson Catholic 7-6.

The team relied heavily on Briana Darling, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season.

Hackensack's victory bumped their record up to 8-13-1. As for Paramus, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Everything went Paramus' way against Hackensack in their previous meeting back in April, as Paramus made off with a 17-3 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
