Basketball Recap: Joseph City Wins Going Away Against Red Mesa

Joseph City's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down the Red Mesa Redskins 49-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

It was another big night for Eli James, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jaimen Tsosie, who posted eight points.

Joseph City's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Red Mesa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Joseph City has already played their next match, a 72-59 win against Kingman on the 19th. As for Red Mesa, they will take on Camp Verde in a tournament on December 27th.
