Itasca won the last time they faced Aquilla and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wampus Cats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 74-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wampus Cats.

Itasca's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tatum Abrego, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 23 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rylee Markwardt, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 20 points and six boards.

Itasca's record now sits at 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Itasca will square off against Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aquilla, they will take on Priddy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
