Basketball Recap: Litchfield Comes Up Short

Litchfield was the 53-47 winner over Hillsboro when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Litchfield Purple Panthers fell to the Hillsboro Hiltoppers 50-46. The Purple Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Litchfield's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-14. As for Hillsboro, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Litchfield has already played their next match (against Civic Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillsboro will face off against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
