Basketball Recap: Bayside Triumphs

Bayside hadn't done well against Cardozo recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Commodores managed a 33-28 victory over the Judges. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Cardozo had strong showings from Tayla Gutierrez, who posted nine points and eight boards, and Mylie Morris, who put up nine points. Vivienne Wong was another key player, putting up six points.

Bayside's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Cardozo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

As of now, neither Bayside nor the Judges have any future games scheduled.
