Volleyball Recap: Kearny Komets vs. Valhalla Norsemen
Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valhalla Norsemen.
Valhalla had a senior duo take command as Luke D'Alessio had 26 digs and Shia Ramos had ten digs. Those 26 digs set a new season-high mark for D'Alessio. Tristan Heil also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.
Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Valhalla, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.
Looking ahead, Kearny will venture away from home to square off against Monte Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valhalla, they will square off against Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
