Soccer Recap: Joliet Catholic Comes Up Short

Joliet Catholic lost against St. Patrick back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Shamrocks, falling 4-1. Joliet Catholic were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Adan Verdin, who's now up to seven this season.

Joliet Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record this season. As for St. Patrick, their record is now 8-9-1.

Looking ahead, Joliet Catholic will head out to square off against Saint Viator at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Patrick, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westinghouse on the 20th.
