Softball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Highlands was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Woodland Christian Cardinals, falling 20-1. The matchup marked the Scots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Highlands is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Woodland Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highlands is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Woodland Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodland Christian, they will head out to square off against Vacaville Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodland Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
