Recap: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Murray Spartans
The Tooele Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They lost to Murray at home by a decisive 61-46 margin.
Tooele lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josie Kennedy, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Searle, who scored nine points along with four blocks.
Tooele has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Murray, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tooele will take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hillcrest is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Murray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
