League recap: No. 1 International Prep at Grover defeats No. 2 Olmsted to stay on top

In the ongoing battle for first place, Olmsted beat International Prep at Grover this week, 5-3 on May 2, 2012. International Prep at Grover sits in first place in Section 6 Buffalo C at 5-1 (6-3 overall).

Emerson Vo-Tech has now lost five straight games, currently the longest losing streak in the league. The Eagles lost another game last week, including a 18-3 defeat against Lafayette.

Olmsted boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. The Owls's pitchers have been charged with only 60 hits and have struck out 96 batters. Robert Rakowski is tops on the staff with 42 Ks.
