On Wednesday Arlington will have to hit the road after five straight games at home. They will face off against the Ada Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Arlington will be strutting in after a victory while Ada will be coming in after a loss.
Last Monday, Arlington narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Van Buren 3-2.
Arlington took Van Buren into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 24-26, 15-11.
Arlington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Meanwhile, Ada lost 3-0 to McComb on Wednesday.
After all that action, the final score was 25-15, 25-11, 25-20.
Arlington is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Ada, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
